Consignor Questions
A children's consignment sale is an event where families sell their outgrown children's items alongside hundreds of other local families.
Little Light Children’s Consignment handles the advertising, setup, checkout process, and sale operations so you can earn money on items your family no longer need.
We accept a wide variety of children's items, including:
• Children's clothing (newborn through teen)
• Shoes and accessories
• Toys, games, and puzzles
• Books
• Baby equipment and gear
• Nursery items
• Feeding and nursing items
• Outdoor toys and ride-ons
• Seasonal items
If it's child-related, there's a good chance we accept it!
We also accept
• Maternity clothing
• Select women's clothing
• Select men's clothing
All items must be clean, complete, in excellent condition, and meet current safety standards. Restrictions apply for recalled, expired, or unsafe items.
For children's items, we accept all brands as long as they meet our quality standards. Items should be clean, current, and free of stains, holes, excessive wear, and pilling.
For maternity, women's, and men's items, additional brand and quality guidelines may apply.
Condition matters more than the label, and we reserve the right to reject any item that does not meet our standards.
A non-refundable registration fee of $12 is due when you register. This fee helps cover event expenses such as venue rental, advertising, equipment, and supplies.
Little Light also includes a small built-in event support amount in shopper pricing. This does not reduce consignor earnings or affect consignor percentages.
The maximum inventory limit is 300 items per consignor.
While it may be tempting to bring everything you have, quality matters more than quantity. Clean, current, well-priced items consistently outperform large quantities of lower-quality inventory.
In fact, many of our top sellers from the Spring 2026 sale brought fewer items than other consignors but earned more because they focused on desirable brands, excellent condition, and competitive pricing.
When deciding what to bring, ask yourself:
"Would I be excited to buy this at a consignment sale?"
A smaller, well-curated inventory often leads to better results than simply bringing more items. 💛
Yes! One of the most exciting parts of the sale is watching your earnings grow.
At the end of each sale day, we'll update the system so you can log into your consignor account and see which items sold and track your current earnings.
Sales are updated nightly and are not available in real time during shopping hours.
When entering your inventory, you'll have the option to check the "Donate" box for each item.
Items marked Donate that remain unsold during the regular sale may be included in our Blowout Sale, with proceeds benefiting a local organization.
Any remaining donated items are then distributed to local community organizations and foster families.
Items not marked Donate must be picked up during the designated consignor pickup window.
